2010 CLASS RULES
KIDS NOVICE B ( AGES 4-7 ) SPONSORED BY:
50cc two strokes, 100cc four strokes, no engine mods, must use oem engine and frame, chassis mods are legal. When a competitors times and skill level approach the times being turned in the main classes, they will be moved. The rule of thumb will be 110% of the main event lap times.
KIDS NOVICE A (AGES 8-13) SPONSORED BY:
65cc two stroke, 125cc four stroke. No engine mods. Must use oem engine and frame, chassis mods are legal. When a competitors times and skill level approach the times being turned in the main classes, they will be moved. The rule of thumb will be 110% of the main lap times.
KIDS SPEC (AGES 5-13) SPONSORED BY:
Must run Thump star kids spec bike. This class will run independently of other classes so that the kids spec riders can also race other classes. DOT tires only.
ADULT NOVICE ( ages 12 and up) SPONSORED BY:
Any MGKT legal mini may compete in this class. When a competitors times and skill level approach the times being turned in the main classes, they will be moved. The rule of thumb will be 110% of main lap times.
FORMULA-1 SPONSORED BY:
50cc water cooled two strokes, 60cc air cooled two strokes , and up to 112cc air cooled four strokes. Bikes may have unlimited mods but must not exceed max displacement. ( klx 110, ktm 50, xr 100)
GP 65 SPONSORED BY:
Two strokes up to 65cc under Superbike rules. Bikes may have unlimited mods but must not exceed max displacement.( kx 65)
SUPPER MINI STOCK SPONSORED BY :
Two strokes up to 85cc , air cooled four strokes up to 190cc, but motores must be 100% stock. (yz 85, cr 85 ,rm 85, kx 85) Four stroke machines up to 150cc water cooled and 190cc air cooled, unlimited mods, but motors must be 100% stock.
THUMPER 136 SPONSORED BY:
Four stroke machines only up to 136cc under, unlimited mods, but must not exceed 136cc. ( xr100, ttr125, drz125, spec bike )
SUPER MINI SPONSORED BY:
Two stroke machines up to 105cc maximum displacement or four stroke machines up to 150cc for water cooled and 190cc for air cooled. Unlimited engine modifications, but must not exceed maximum displacement.
MINI PRO SPONSORED BY; $$$$$$$$$$ CLASS
In this class you can use any bike listed in the mini section of these rules, There will be a super pole to qualify for your grid spot then the main event.This class is a $ race and the fee to inter is $50 and we will pay back 50% to the top five in class.
SUPERMOTO UP TO 250 SPONSORED BY:
Up to 250cc dirt bike chassis,any mods not to exceed max engine displacement.
SUPERMOTO UP TO 450 SPONSORED BY:
Up to 450cc dirt bike chassis, any mods not to exceed max engine displacement.
SUPER SINGLES UNLIMITED NO JUMPS SPONSORED BY: $$$$$$$$$$ CLASS
All dirt bike chassis bikes, unlimited mods.$50 To enter and a 50% pay back to the top 5 in class.
LW SPEC SPONSORED BY:
Thumpstar spec bike 125cc rider and gear weighing 194 lbs or less. Dot tires.
HW SPEC SPONSORED BY:
Thumpstar spec bikes 125cc rider and gear weighing 195 lbs or more. Dot tires.
STOCK THUNDER SPONSORED BY: $$$$$$$$$$ CLASS
This class is for stock based dirt bikes, limited mods allowed.$50 To enter and a 50% pay back to the top 5 in class. You must use the stock rear wheel and you may change the front wheel to a 16 in.Example you can purchase a STOCK XR 80 front rim to replace the 19 in stock rim.There will not be any aluminum rims allowed unless they are OEM for that bike. No brake mods are allowed. You must use the stock suspension but you can change the springs. You are only allowed to have two engine mods ,exhaust and jetting , no air box mods allowed.Or you will be allowed to remove the tip from the stock exhaust if it can be unbolted,no cutting involved.You can use an aftermarket air filter. We will allow you to make any other modifications you want as long as they are NOT performance modifications.Meaning any cosmetic alterations you want, bars ,levers ,body work ( stock). Dot tire only.You must run the stock break system that was original to the bike. You will be allowed to use steel braided brake lines for fluid filled braking systems. We will have a paying purse for this class in 2010, back to the top five in class, and 50% of the entry fees.No race gas will be allowed, you must use pump gas.( xr 100, ttr 125, drz 125 )
